About Blueanalytica

Blueanalytica is a maritime engineering and R&D company. We stand beside owners, operators, shipyards and insurers whenever a technical question about a vessel carries a cost, and we answer it with evidence gathered on site and analysed with scientific rigour.

Mission

To produce engineering, data analytics and information technology solutions for the management, operation, inspection and training processes of maritime and offshore organisations.

Vision

To build a maritime analytics value chain by developing deep-tech solutions for the next generation needs of the blue economy.

Approach

Field work and research under one roof. The engineer who attends your vessel works with the same methods we publish and teach.

Independent

We work for our client's interest, not the yard's or the seller's.

Evidence-based

Measurements, records and quantitative methods behind every opinion.

On site

Our engineers attend the vessel, the yard and the incident in person.

Digital by design

Our own software turns inspection data into decisions.

Who we work with.

Different sides of the same vessel. Each needs a technical answer it can rely on.

Yacht owners and captains

Refit supervision, purchase surveys and yard management.

Ship owners and managers

Condition surveys, dry-docking projects and ISM systems.

P&I clubs and H&M underwriters

Casualty investigation and independent damage assessment.

Shipyards

Project organisation, quality and safety management systems.

Energy and offshore operators

Risk-based maintenance, competency and QHSE systems for floating assets.

Training and research institutions

Applied training programmes and joint maritime research.

Engineers who look below the waterline.

Behind every shipyard schedule, purchase decision and insurance file sits the same question: what is the real technical condition of the vessel? We answer it by measuring on site, evaluating with quantitative methods and reporting in a way that holds up.

Yacht refit supervision

Owner's representative on site, every day of the refit.

We track work items, workmanship, schedule and budget with the yard daily, so every decision rests on a document and every progress claim on a measurement.

  • Refit specification
  • Daily site supervision
  • Progress and cost reports
  • Sea trials and delivery
Yacht and ship purchase surveys

Know what you are buying before you sign.

Hull, machinery, electrical and safety systems inspected on site, with findings prioritised and linked to price and negotiation.

  • Pre-purchase survey
  • Machinery and system trials
  • Class and certificate review
  • Repair cost estimate
Shipyard project organisation

Dry-docking planned from specification to redelivery.

We compare yard quotations line by line, build the work plan and coordinate subcontractors so the vessel leaves the dock on time.

  • Tender and quote evaluation
  • Docking plan
  • Subcontractor coordination
  • Completion dossier
P&I and H&M technical consultancy

Independent technical findings for casualties and claims.

For machinery breakdown, collision, grounding and fire, we establish technical cause, extent of damage and reasonable repair cost for insurers, clubs and owners.

  • Damage survey
  • Root cause analysis
  • Repair scope and cost
  • Expert report
QHSE management systems

Quality, environment, safety and health, designed to be used.

ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISM Code requirements built around how your operation actually works, then implemented and made audit-ready.

  • Gap analysis
  • Procedures and forms
  • Risk assessment
  • Internal audit and training
Maritime analytics and training

Software and training built on field experience.

Our R&D team develops platforms that digitalise inspection and personnel evaluation, and designs hands-on training for technical teams.

  • Nauticentric
  • Corporate training

Yacht refit supervision

Your eyes, ears and signature in the shipyard.

Refits rarely drift because of technical difficulty. They drift because of vague specifications, untracked extra work and quality issues found too late. Being on site every day keeps the job tied to the specification, the budget and the schedule.

Surveys

Every survey serves a decision.

Yachts, merchant ships, barges and floating structures. Each report shows the finding, its cause and its cost impact in one place.
